As a beehive educator, it has come to my attention that the new bee keepers have the most trouble with keeping up with terms more than the hive work. Super, brood chamber, boxes, hive body, honey super, small, shallow, medium and large super all refer to the same hive box in the service of the hive. In a lecture care needs to be taken to consistently use the correct term. Or you confuse rather than educate.

THANK YOU for an honest description
I kept reading posts that said this will take 24 hours …
Well, I just got a BRAND NEW freeze dryer – first thing to try is the eggs that are piling up everywhere
5 dozen eggs – it’s been going for 45 hours already & I was really beginning to worry!
But the room was hottish when we turned it on (Texas) and no a/c plus the hot pump
It said ‘it will take longer than usual’ so now I’m not worried
We’ve added an a/c (another expense!) but the room is now cooler & the notice went away.
I haven’t read many of your posts, but you may want to point that out as a drawback or just something to know. I had no idea the vacuum pump runs at 160F – and it’s close to the dryer.

In reply to Stephanie. Are you talking about fresh green bean? I don't think you have to blanch canned beans. I have been freeze drying since last summer and I am still learning. I would appreciate any help 🙏 I can get!!!
