Are you talking about fresh green bean? I don’t think you have to blanch canned beans. I have been freeze drying since last summer and I am still learning. I would appreciate any help 🙏 I can get!!!

Hi Karen! Yes blanche them for 2-3 minutes and then into an ice bath to cool. Then freeze dry immediately for the freshest most nutrient dense results. I hope this helps and I would love to hear how they turn out!
